Home staging<\/span><\/a><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css_animation=”fadeInUp”][vc_column_text]… my photography, which I like to define as “pictorial and meditative”, investigates the borderline between truth and fiction, reality and imagination and between opposites as no-divisible elements …<\/p>\n

I share Achille Bonito Oliva’s concept of ‘public art’ understood as art to be shared in public spaces, socially and spiritually stimulating, unfinished and evolving – as it is open to interpretation and participation by the ‘public’.<\/p>\n

My idea of \u200b\u200b\u201cthe right time\u201d<\/em> is like that of John Cage’s silence.<\/p>\n

P. P. was born in Salerno in ’59, Roman by adoption in ’78<\/p>\n

Photographer of art, architecture, dance, advertising, portraiture and portfolio.
\nShe attends the free school of the nude at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome – 1980<\/p>\n

She buys and personally renovates a house in the medieval village of Capena, north of Rome.
\nShe is attending the three-year course in Advertising Photography at the I.E.D. – ’83 -’85<\/p>\n

She participates in the foundation of the Ist. Superior of Photography with a group of students and teachers: M. Cavalli, G. Chieregato, F. Cerqua, T. D’amico, where she graduated -’86
\nShe creates the women’s-only advertising studio Photofollie-’87
\nShe creates the Lucus Feroniae Photographic Laboratory with the Municipality of Capena – ’97 – ’01
\nShe moves to Paris where she lives between the world of art and crafts. She participates in some exhibitions and auctions where her artistic work is highly appreciated receiving some awards-’93-’95<\/p>\n

Her work has been characterized since 1990 by interventions of painting and collage on photography, with the elaboration of a personal technique that she calls photo-collage<\/strong>. Contaminations and citations alternate in a stratification of planes that merge into a single image, not revealing its boundaries.<\/em><\/p>\n

The traveling exhibition “Following the dreams …” features a collection of 22 limited edition photo-collages on medium format photographic paper.<\/p>\n

In 95, on her return from Paris, she creates a new collection of photo-collages in large format, on jute canvas and hot pressed photography, entitled “Constellations”<\/em><\/strong>. In this operation, Pinella dares to overlap and merge with works by great artists, <\/em>conceptually violating their sacredness, to feel their flavor and at the same time make an attempt at revitalization and sharing, in a path of belonging and encounter. In 96 she was invited to exhibit her works at the Foto Roma Show.<\/p>\n

Her strong bond with the Aeolian Islands, which has always been a source of inspiration, is significant, where she takes care of the image of various tourist facilities.<\/p>\n

Since ’98 she has dedicated herself to digital art and to the restoration of old photographs with both brush and digital retouching techniques.<\/p>\n

In 2007 she moved to Salerno where she opened the Via Zara Studio.<\/p>\n

In 2011 she began her collaboration with Paolo Ceola, a Venetian artist designer, forming a group called PiPol from the initials of their names.<\/p>\n

Her subsequent research is dedicated to “the woman as an intermediary with the divine”, an artistic-spiritual path.<\/p>\n

She participates in the “Sopraffactions”<\/em> project, which emphasizes the end of the sacredness of the artwork, as finished and untouchable, during which she elaborates a personal technique, which combines the three-dimensionality of matter with the intangibility of digital with the work Emersioni Remote – photography immersed in resin (40 \u201cx 40\u201d).<\/p>\n

He collaborates with some architects to furnish apartments by creating personalized photographic artworks.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2013 she specializes in Home Staging and Interior Photography working throughout the country, in 2014 she rediscovers her passion for Jazz music and photography.<\/p>\n

She participate in some contemporary art competitions receiving awards and special mentions. Since 2011 she has been dedicating herself to projects on the femininity of disabled women<\/em> to break down cultural barriers through photographic portraiture and other artistic interventions: Femininity is Woman – Not a world apart, but a part of the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2018 she created her new Oro-Graphia project with a collection of photographic miniatures on 24k gold dedicated to “The places of the soul”, entitled “Vara pe’ sette!” Salina and her six sisters. The result of an inner search she experiences alchemical transformations in search of joy. In 2020 she returns to Rome to promote Oro-Graphia<\/em><\/strong>, her exclusive gold style technique.<\/em><\/p>\n

P. P. exhibited<\/strong> <\/em>in various Italian and French galleries. Her works appear in several private collections in New York, Rhode Island, Miami, Bruxelles, Paris, Miami, Zurich and in Italy, at the Bibl. Civica di Alessandria, at the Museum of Photography of the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, at the Dobfar Pharmaceutical House in Anagni.<\/p>\n

Her work as a freelance mainly in Rome, Salerno and Salina.<\/p>\n
